Cathy Packe is an established media trainer, radio and TV producer and writer.
Her BBC career of 20 years included several years as ouput editor of the Today programme, stints on all the main radio current affairs programmes, including The World at One, PM and The World This Weekend, as well as the One O'Clock News on BBC1. She spent three years as Deputy Home News Editor, directing news coverage within the UK and several years as Senior Foreign Affairs producer based in Brussels, Moscow , New York and London.

Since leaving the BBC in 1998 she has built up her experience as a media, crisis and communications trainer. Clients include BAA, Cable and Wireless, Cisco, Dell, DHL, Elsevier, GE, Glaxo SmithKline, Google, ING, Mobile, Nokia, Nortel, Prudential, Rio Tinto and UPS.
Cathy remains a regular broadcaster on a number of BBC Radio programmes. She speaks fluent French and Spanish and has a working knowledge of Italian, German and Russian.
